Live Oak High School has a strong tradition of producing quality 

softball players. This camp will be a tremendous experience for all 

future softball players from our local area.  Live Oak Head Varsity 

Coach Sarah Porras will be the camp director.  Sarah was an outstanding player at Live Oak and was inducted in the Live Oak Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018. She also was a standout player in college.  Listed below is some additional information on the camp which still has space available.  

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:  Girls Ages 6-14 (beginners thru advanced).  

There is still space available for friends.

WHEN & WHERE:  June 10-14, 9:00 –12:00, Live Oak Softball Field, 

1505 East Main St. Morgan Hill, Ca 95037

THINGS PROVIDED:  Camp t-shirt, softballs, bats, helmets, etc . . .

WHAT TO BRING:  Campers should bring a water bottle, glove, cap or 

visor, cleats and suitable softball attire (something to slide in).

CAMP FEATURES:  Daily instruction on the fundamentals of hitting, 

bunting, base running, throwing, fielding, game situations and pitching.  

Individual and small group instruction.  

NOTE ON CONDITIONING:  It is usually well known that prior 

conditioning can prevent sore muscles and injuries.  We recommend 

that campers exercise prior to camp.

ARRIVAL AND PICK UP TIMES:  Softball campers should arrive by 

8:30 am on Monday to check in at the Live Oak Gym.  Each day after 

that arrive at 9:00 at the softball field.  Parents/guardians can pick up 

children at 12:00 at the softball field.
